Pioneers in compliance with the Minamata Convention, Soc.Minera Monte Alto implements the Concentration by Gravimetry and smelting processes that have allowed the elimination of harmful mercury from operations, thanks to the collaboration with AMTC of the University of Chile, which in co-financing with Corfo have developed the project “MERCURY ERADICATION IN SMALL-GOLD MINING BY MELTING GRAVIMETRIC CONCENTRATES”, code 19CVC-118598.
